WELCOME TO THE SHORELINE CHAPTER
SEIU LOCAL 925
Service Employees International Union, with 1.8 million members, is the largest and fastest growing union in North America. We represent K-12, Higher Education Public Service, and Child Care Workers.
The Shoreline Chapter of SEIU Local 925 is comprised of four bargaining units:
- Grounds/Custodial/Warehouse
- Catering
- Food Service
- Transportation
We have approximately 190 members in our four units. Our chapter President is Laurie Rabinashad, School Bus Driver, and our Chief Shop Steward is Jerry Pickard, SC Custodian.

Talk with your shop steward or call Laurie Rabinashad for ways that you can get involved, like contributing to COPE (Committee on Political Empowerment) or joining us in Olympia every Presidents’ Day when we meet and lobby our legislators. Becoming an active member in SEIU is a wonderful way to meet other members, have a lot of fun, and help to make our workplaces and our Local even better and stronger.
