Change is in the Air...
Our SEIU Deductions Are Coming On Our June Invoice!
All providers have already been paying dues from their subsidy checks for the last two years, but SSPS will soon roll out its long-awaited new invoice format which will allow us to see these and other deductions more clearly on our remittance advices.
Each month we will now be able to clearly see our deductions for our dues, health insurance, and COPE contributions:
- Our union dues or agency fees will be automatic, accurate, and clearly identified on the remittance advice. Dues are 2% of our subsidy, with a $5 minimum and no monthly dues will be over $50.
- If we are covered by SEIU Health Care, the premiums will be automatic, accurate, and clearly identified. That automatic deduction is currently $17 per month.
- For those of us who voluntarily contribute to our union’s political action fund - PAC (COPE) to build our political power, this deduction will be automatic, accurate, and clearly identified. That deduction will be $7.00 each month.

VERY IMPORTANT: Please call-in all outstanding invoices before May 18th. For this new invoice system to work smoothly, we need to submit all outstanding invoices before May 18th. Prior to June, our dues have already been applied to our subsidy rate and if we don’t submit these old invoices for payment by May 18, dues will be applied again. Don’t wait to call in those past invoices.
