Solidarity with Dolores Huerta and all survivors

As a union founded and led by women, with our roots in the struggle for women’s rights, we stand in solidarity with Dolores Huerta and other courageous survivors who have shared their stories of horrific abuse. By speaking their truths, they have called us all to work harder to ensure that our ongoing fights for social justice do not replicate the very oppression and harms we oppose.

The labor movement is bigger than one person and one person’s legacy. It is the story of working people uniting and lifting each other up in community to create a better world. In that world, there needs to be space for accountability and for healing.

We honor the brave women who shed light on abuse and injustice, and will continue fighting for the dignity, safety, and rights of women and all workers.
