UW Libraries & Press staff authorize one-day strike
UW Libraries and Press employees voted by 94.2% to authorize their bargaining team to call for a one-day strike. The bargaining team has selected Thursday, May 14 for the strike if they feel they are not close to a tentative contract agreement this Friday.

UW Staff win over $1 million in stolen wages
The Public Employee Relations Commission found that the University of Washington committed an Unfair Labor Practice when it withheld scheduled pay increases from eligible advising staff .
